    Rwenzori located in the most undiscovered parts of central Africa. Climbing here is a journey into the fantastic world of the this mystic mountain range, surrounded with mist and ancient legends. An array is just 48 kilometers north of the equator, but the top of his covered with glaciers. Ten peaks of the Rwenzori are higher than 4800 m.

    The ridge includes 6 main summits: Margherita (one of the peaks of Mount Stanley altitude 5109 m), Speke (4890 m), Baker (4843 m), Emin (4798 m), Hesse (4715 m) and Luigi and Savoy (4627 m). Stanley is the third highest mountain in Africa after Kilimanjaro and Mount Kenya, however, unlike them Rwenzori mountains are not volcanic in origin. The highest Rwenzori peaks are permanently snow-capped, and along with Mount Kilimanjaro and Mount Kenya are the only such ones in Equatorial Africa. Rwenzori peaks hidden behind clouds and mist 300 days a year. Perhaps this mountain range is the very Mountains of the Moon, which are referred to as the source of the ancient geography of the Nile.
