    First of all the Caribbean Andes are famous because of its hiking trails and rock-climbing routes. The mountains in the Caribbean Andes are not so high like in neighbor Colombian Andes and mostly have a shape so-called "table mountains". The ascents in the Caribbean Andes are pretty simple and don't require any technical skills or acclimatization.

    The Caribbean Andes are mountain range on the north Venezuela's shore. This range consists of three big cordilleras - the Coastal Cordillera, the Serrania del Interior Range and Cordillera de Merida. The maximum elevation of those cordilleras is 4981 meters. The length of Caribbean Andes is more than 800 kilometers with average width of 80 kilometers.
