    A relatively new area, both in terms of climbing and mountaineering. Actively developed with the participation of the Mountaineering Federation of the Krasnoyarsky region. Untouched Siberian nature, unspoiled lakes and crystal clear mountain streams. Many opportunities for first ascents of varying complexity and unclimbed peaks, as well as climbing walls up to 600 meters.

    Together with the Western Sayan mountain range that forms the Sayan Mountains. In central and south-eastern part of the Eastern Sayan located highland massifs: Great Sayan, Tunkinsky, Belsky, Kitoi, Botogolskih loaches, Munch-Sardyk, Dzalu-Hiliyn-Nur, etc., characterized by alpine landforms. Ridges north-western part are flat-topped: Manske Belogorie, Kan Belogorie, Kuturchinskoe Belogorie - most of the year there are stored patches of snow on them. There is also a volcanic plateau, characterized by a gentle slope (Oka plateau et al.). Within the mountain system there are young volcanic formations (volcanoes Kropotkin, Peretolchina et al.).

    Located in southern Siberia on the south-east of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, west of Buryatia, south-west of Irkutsk region, north-east of Tuva in Russia and northern Mongolia Khövsgöl Province on the right bank of the Yenisei River to Lake Baikal. Adjacent to the south-western edge of the Siberian platform.
