    The main reason for visiting of the Coastal West Antarctica mountains is a rising popularity of the "Seven Volcanoes" program which includes Mount Sidley. But apart from the highest antarctic volcano climbers have plenty opportunities of making new route to other unconquered mountains.

    Coastal West Antarctica mountains are combination of ridges, as well as mountain and volcanic formations on the Antarctica west coast. The most famous of which is the Executive Committee Ridge where situated Mount Sidley - the highest volcano in Antarctica.

    Coastal West Antarctica mountains are mostly located in Marie Byrd Land, which is the part of West Antarctica lying east of the Ross Ice Shelf. On the east its border with the Transantarctic Mountains, and on the west - with the Ellsworth Land.
