We have this program of gradual acclimatization for novice people.
On the southern part of Tlaxcala rises Malinche or Matlacueyetl, which is the name that the inhabitants of ancient Tlaxcala gave to the mother goddess of water. It has an altitude of 4461 masl. and it is the fifth highest mountain in Mexico.
IZTACCIHUATL volcano(white woman) 5,218 m / 17,120 ft -
The name "Iztaccíhuatl" is Nahuatl for "White woman", reflecting the four individual snow-capped peaks which depict the head, chest, knees and feet of a sleeping female when seen from east or west.

We will meet you at the Mexico City International Airport (225m) / 7381 ft or place and transport you to Teotihuacan (Aztecs Piramyds) and rest in Malinche Hut (3085m) / 10121ft . beginning the acclimatization process.
La Malinche (4 400m)
One trekking day in "la Malinche" (4 400m) / 14435ft is a nice mountain, first walking in forest and next in high altitude, go back to the Malinche Hut (3082m) / 10111 ft
Camp Altzomoni (3950m)
We drive through gorgeous high-elevation terrain to the slopes of Popocatepetl and Ixta. We can explore a fantastic market in Amecameca or make last minute purchases. Our drive continues towards Popo-Ixta National Park and to the Paso de Cortez, named after Cortez crossed the pass in 1529 en route to the city of Tenochtitlan. We will spend the night in the lodge at camp Altzomoni (3950m)/ 11,703'
