EXPEDITIONS
IMPORTANT AND TO TAKE INTO ACCOUNT: Have a good training base – Have your body adaptor become accustomed to the altitude – Make mountains befored oing Aconcagua - Train hard and look at theheight - Have and know yourn ecessary equipment to make the ascent and the previous mountains ( ifyou do not have it, you can rentit).

Day 1
Mendoza
Arrival in Mendoza (760m). Our driver will wait for you at the airport to drive you to the hotel. Aftercheck-in, you can restor explore thecity center and itscafes. The expedition guide will contact you to coordinate the activities of the following day.
Day 2
Permit and equipment
Mendoza Group meeting, equipment check, rental of equipment if necessary. Obtaining the permit, with assistance from the guide. Team review is an important step.
Day 3
Los Penitentes
Transfer to Los Penitentes in private vehicles. Accommodation in the mountain hotel (2580m). Our warehouse and operations center islocated in this mountain town, meters from the hotel. Here we prepare the loads for their transfer in mules. / Transfer in vehicle. / 3 hours approx.
Day 4
Confluencia
Penitentes-Confluencia. Breakfast at the hotel, transfer from Los Penitentes to the entrance to the Park (Horcones, 2,950m) by vehicle. Control of permits and accreditation with parkrangers. We begin the approach trekking. After a gentle walk of three orf our hours we arrive at Confluencia, the first camp on the Normal Route (3390m). During the approach trek, we will only load a light backpack with a few elements. The team climbs on mules. / 3-4 hs
Day 5
South wall viewpoint - Plaza Francia
Confluence- Mirador de la Pared Sur (Plaza Francia, 4050m). On this day we take a detour to see the impressive South Wall of Aconcagua. The main objective of the day is to acclimatize to the altitude. After a relaxed walk of about six to seven hours, without charge, we return to Confluencia to spend the night. / 6-7 hs
Day 6
Base camp Plaza de Mulas trek
Today we start our trek from Confluence to Base camp Plaza de Mulas. After a demanding 7-hour trek and after crossing Playa Ancha and Cuesta Brava, we arrive at our comfortable base camp at Plaza de Mulas (4,350m). / 7-9 hs
Day 7
Rest day
Rest in Plaza de Mulas. Day dedicated to rest, read in the dining tent or learn about the interesting world of the base camp. Whatever the activity, you have to hydrate abundantly!
Day 8
Cerro Bonete
Trekking to the hill Bonete. An ascent of acclimatization to Cerro Bonete (5,004m) gives us a spectacular view of the Western Wall of Aconcagua. / 5-6 hours
Day 9
portage to Plaza Canada
Porteo to Plaza Canada. We ascend to the first altitude camp, Plaza Canada (5,050m), to deposit part of the equipment and supplies that we will use. We return to Plaza de Mulas to spend the night. / 3-4 hs
Day 10
Rest in Plaza de Mulas
Rest in Plaza de Mulas. Relax and the possibility of taking a hot shower, deserved reward for having completed the first stage of the ascent.
Day 11
camp in Plaza Canada
Plaza de Mulas - Plaza Canada. The group leaves the base camp and moves to Plaza Canada (5,050m), in the first step on the way to the summit. / 2 1/2 - 3 hours
Day 12
camp in Nido de Cóndores
Canada Square - Nido de Cóndores. We continue the ascent to the second altitude camp, Nido de Cóndores (5.560m), carrying full backpacks (18-22kg), / 3-4 hours
Day 13
High altitude camp Colera
Climb from Nest of Condors to Colera ( "Anger") (high field). The group climbs to the last high altitude camp, Colera (5,970m). We dined almost 6,000 meters ... It is higher than most places in the world! / 2-3 hs
Day 14
Summit day
Summit day! We left the tents early to take advantage of the day, carrying only the essentials for the long day. We return to Cholera to spend the night. / 8-12 hs
Day 15
Extra day
Extra day due to climatic contingencies.
Day 16
Cholera - Plaza de Mulas.
Down from Cholera to Plaza de Mulas. We descend to the comfort of the base camp and a well-deserved celebration dinner. / 2-4 hours
Day 17
Plaza de Mulas - Horcones - Penitentes - Mendoza
Down from Plaza de Mulas to Horcones then drive to Penitentes. The downhill trek takes between 6 and 7 hours. Most of the equipment is transported on mules, so we walk light. From Horcones, the vehicle takes us to Penitentes and then to Mendoza, where we stay at the hotel and where our expedition ends. / 6-7 hours plus 3-4 hours of transfer.
