Annapurna Himalayan range is one of the enormous ranges that expand from Vara-Shikar (Annapurna Fang) towards Manaslu and Lamjung range which is roughly 60-70 km of lateral distance. Which includes one peak over 8,000 metres , thirteen peaks over 7,000 metres, and sixteen more over 6,000 metres. The landscape of the region provides breath taking sceneries. The early morning views of the mountains are majestic. The sunrise views from along the path of the trek are breath taking. The treks combine so many different landscapes and bring you so close to the base of 7,000 and 8,000 meter peaks.
The 10 days Annapurna Base Camp trekking designed by Trekking Guide Team is one of the most admired trekking destinations. During the trek apart from witnessing rich cultural diversity, you will also pass through remote farms as well as villages occupied by Gurung ethnic tribes who are popularly known all over the world for their bravery. You can experience the culture, old traditions, and religious values, of grung people.To begin 10 days Annapurna Base Camp, we will drive to Nayapul from Pokhara and walk all along the path and carry on trekking down the hill following a river to Birethanti. Also, we will climb to Jhinu danda where we can enjoy tumbling in the hot spring. On the way to Dovan, we will be rewarded by the outstanding views of Mt. Machhapuchhre, Annapurna South and Huinchuli. Plus, we will pass by Chomrong, a large Gurung village. We will also pass by the wooded area filled with bamboo and rhododendron trees beside the Modi River and reach Dovan. Then we will walk for 6 hours to get to Annapurna Base Camp lying at the elevation of 4,095m via Machhapuchhre base camp which is beautifully set on the northern side of the extremely large Mt. Machhapuchhre. Walking for around 4 hours we will reach at Annapurna Base Camp which enthralls us with the striking views of the world’s tenth highest Annapurna I ( 8,091 m), Mt. After we arrive at Kathmandu International Airport, our airport representative from Trekking Guide Team Adventure will wait for you with a play card help you to transfer to hotel. At hotel, you can just relax. Overnight at Kathmandu.
Drive to Pokhara 950m – 06 hrs journey.
We will on this day drive to Pokhara from Kathmandu. If we are drive early morning at around 7 a.m. On the way, we will pass by a lot of farm villages and cities with views of snow topped peaks. Pokhara, actually is the most well-known valleys in the southern slope of Himalayas hides the best of Himalayan charisma with three arresting lakes in its region- Phewa, Begnas and Rupa. Overnight In Pokhara.
Drive to Nayapul 1,100m and trek to Jhinu danda 1,700 m -05
Early in the morning, we will drive to Nayapul from Pokhara and walk all along the path and carry on trekking down the hill following a river to Birethanti lying at the height of 1,025m at the bank of Modi River. Following the river we will ascend to Syali bazaar and then we will walk on a gradual twisting path beside the river Modi. With a short way up to another New Bridge also named as Nayapul and then we will climb to Jhinu danda for overnight. Here, you can enjoy dipping in the hot spring too. Overnight in Jhinu Danda.
Trek to Dovan 2,130 m via Chomrong 1,951m – 06 hrs.
From Jhinu danda we will trek to Dovan taking approximately 6 hours. On the way we will be rewarded by the magnificent views of Mt. Machhapuchhre, Annapurna South and Huinchuli. We will trek uphill for some hours to the river, we will again have an exhausting way up takes to the crest of the edge. Then, with a pleasing walk we will get to Chomrong, a large Gurung village and the doorway to Annapurna Sanctuary. We will then walk down to the bridge after that we will have another vertical ascend to Sinawua Danda that rewards us with the wonderful panorama of the nearby landscapes and snow topped peaks. From here, we will walk on a pleasant path through charming oaks, rhododendron, and pines forest. Also, we will move down to Bamboo which is a small community with around five lodges in the heart of wooded area filled with bamboo and rhododendron trees beside the Modi River. Then, we will get to Dovan after a gradual climb all the way through the cool shadow of the forest. Overnight in Dovan.
Trek to Annapurna Base Camp via Machhapuchhre Base Camp
This is one of the significant days of the trek. On this day, we will walk for 6 hours to get to Annapurna Base Camp lying at the height of 4,095m. We will begin with a pleasant ascend for only some hours to get to Hinko cave. We will then depart from wooded area and walking downhill we will reach at a small bridge. After that, we will have a short way up to Deurali. Subsequently, we will walk along with the violent flow of Modi River till we reach at Machhapuchhre base camp which is beautifully set on the northern side of the gigantic Mt. Machhapuchhre. Here, you will be also rewarded with the views of Huinchuli, Annapurna South, and Annapurna I. This is normally a set to stay overnight. But On our ABC 10 days trek, we will continue walking gradually on this day for around 4 hours to reach at Annapurna Base Camp which mesmerizingly rewards us with the striking views of the adjacent snow capped peaks including world’s 10th highest Annapurna I ( 8,091 m), Annapurna South, Huinchuli, Mt. Machhapuchhre and more. Also, you won’t miss to see the great Annapurna glacier down below. Overnight at camp.
Trek to Sinwadanda 2,340 m via Bamboo – 06 hrs.
We will on this day trek to Sinwadanda lying at 2,340 after spending the most memorable time at Annapurna Base Camp. We will walk for around 6 hours and definitely we will be witnessing the breathtaking views and pass the wooded area with bamboo and rhododendron trees named Bamboo. Also, we will walk downhill by the river Modi. From Bamboo, we will be trekking uphill to Khuldi post. After that, we will have the zigzag path from side to side with the lovely woodland till we get to Sinwa danda where we will stay overnight.
Trek to Tolka 1,700 m via Landruk – 06 hours.
Leaving behind Sinwa Danda we will walk for approximately six hours to get to Tolka on this day. Tolka lies at the altitude of 1700m. Today, in the beginning, we will move down to Chomrong River. Then, we will have a challenging climb to upper Chomrong settlement where we can have our lunch. We will then continue walking to the top of Chomrong. Also, we will walk near Nayapul (New Bridge) and walking through the suspension bridge we will then pass through the farm terraces. From here, we will have a short climb to get to a big village named Landruk. Finally, with an easy walk, we will reach Tolka village which presents remarkable views of Huinchuli and Annapurna South peaks. Overnigh in Tolka village.
Trek to Dhampus Phedi 1,050m and drive to Pokhara.
On this day, we will trek to Dhampus Phedi set at the height of 1050m moving ahead from Tolka. We will actually have a pleasant walk for a while with the way up for around an hour to reach Deurali edge. Deurali offers amazing panorama of the snow topped peaks as well as beautiful landscapes. We will then walk down to Dhampus passing through Pothana which offers amazing vistas of Annapurna Himalayan range as well as Manaslu range together with the soaring and popular Mt. Machhapuchhre. Then, we will have a short climb from side to side with cool shaded region full of trees which takes us to Dhampus village. The village also rewards us with other majestic views of the eye-catching snow capped peak range. Subsequently, we will walk down to Phedi on the Baglung, Beni and Pokhara highway. With an hour drive, we will return back to Pokhara. Overnight in Pokhara.
Drive back to Kathmandu afternoon free at leisure.
Early in the morning, we will drive back to Kathmandu. After that, we will transfer to our hotel in Kathmandu. At hotel, you can just relax or go for last minute shopping. Overnight in hotel.
International departure.
This is you last day in Nepal. You will leave Nepal with wonderful memories and awe-inspiring time spent in the Annapurna Himalayan region. Our staff will transfer you to airport for your departure.
