Triglav with its 2864 m is the highest peak in Slovenia and the highest peak in the Julian Alps. The name is due to the shape of the mountain, as seen from Bohinj. The three heads can form the Mali Triglav, the main peak and Šmarjetna head. On the north side lies the the Triglav glacier. Triglav is a central part of Triglav National Park.The north face of Triglav is the highest cliffs od the Julijan Alps. Above Vrata valley it dominates almost 4 km wide and 1 km high cliff. The first ascent of Triglav was in August 26, 1778 resolved of four locals from Bohinj: Luka Korošec, Matevž Kos, Štefan Rožič and Lawrence Willomitzer.

I organize tracks along hiking trails in the European Alps, the Slovenian Alps, Triglav National Park and the in Croatian territories of Velebit, Paklenica, and the islands in the Adriatic Sea.
