The Ascent to Nevado de Toluca, is a one-day activity for beginners or athletes who want an entry-level experience or hone their skills in Mountaineering. Climbing and mountaineering are very healthy and rewarding personal growth activities that stay with us for life, it is our passion and we love sharing it with our clients and friends.
The professional guides of Mexico Climbing will monitor your physical state (eg. oxygen/pulse) at all times in addition to giving instruction in the basic techniques that a future mountaineer should learn, same that may be applied in your next ascents to Iztaccihuatl and Pico de Orizaba.

Nevado de Toluca summit in one day
The tour begins departing from Mexico City, leaving at 5:00 am (except on private outings) from the National Auditorium on the Hotel district of Reforma Polanco. Instructor-guides use the collective safety equipment, such as ropes and rock or snow anchors, for your safety as it is used in the Alps and Andes, providing the best level of support and professional ethics. The route of ascent that we will take, is to the summit at 4,680 meters above sea level and is achieved by means of a constant low-speed climbing rhythm and the experience of the guides, who share their knowledge and contagious of good attitude with you. We will always be aware for your safety and insure you have an excellent experience with a lot of learning to take home at the conclusion of your adventures.
Once on the summit ..Snap a momento picture! :) We descend through the wonderful alpine landscapes of the Nevado, looking back at the climb and experiences we shared, transport waiting for you at the base ...a huge relief and a well deserved rest. The return back to the National Auditorium is between 5 and 7pm ETA approximately.
