Location
Day 1
1st DAY
Meeting at the airport with your guide, transfer to the Tatra Mountains in Slovakia, free afternoon. Dinner.
Day 2
2nd DAY /Highlight of today – Skalnaté pleso 1803m
After a good sleep and breakfast we will leave the village of Starý Smokovec by funicular. We will walk pass the two mountain huts where we can have a short break and enjoy a drink. Later we will finish at Skalnaté tarn 1803 meters. We will return using the same path. Dinner.
Day 3
3rd DAY /Highlight of today – Popradské pleso 1494m
Breakfast, we will leave our village and take a local tram to Štrbske pleso. The hike tour today is easy and it will finish in one of the most beautiful parts of Tatra Mountains called Popradske tarn. Return by a tram. Dinner
Day 4
4th DAY /View of the highest peak of Slovakia
Breakfast. We start by taking a funicular and then we will take a red marked trail towards the Mountain Hotel Sliezsky Dom as we want to finish in the valley called Velicka. It is an ideal place to enjoy the view of the Mlynický waterfall and the highest peak of Slovakia called Gerlachovský peak 2655m. Return down to the valley. Take a tram. Dinner.
Day 5
5th DAY It is time to take a day off
Breakfast, Enjoy your free day. Ask your guide what to do. Dinner.
Day 6
6th DAY /Highlight of today – National Park Slovenský Raj
Breakfast. Transfer by our private coach to the NP Slovenský Raj. Walk to the gorge called Prielom Hornádu where the river creates an interesting canyon accessible for hiking using special wooden ladders and metal platforms. It´s a bit different way of trekking but it really is exciting. Transfer back to the Tatra Mountains. Dinner.
Day 7
7th DAY /A bit of Slovak culture and a village of Ždiar
Breakfast. Short transfer by our coach to a nearby village. Mountain ridge walk through a forest ending in one of the oldest villages of Slovakia called Ždiar. Visit the local museum and learn about the traditions. Return by a coach. Dinner.
Day 8
8th DAY
Breakfast. Transfer to the airport.
