Arrive at Kathmandu [1345m/4411ft] and transfer to Hotel.
Our airport arrival and departure representative will meet you at Tribhuvan International Airport on your arrival schedule. You will then be transferred to our hotel in the heart of Kathmandu. Day 2

Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla [2800m/9184ft][45 min flight]
After breakfast, we will take a scenic flight from Kathmandu to Lukla which takes around 45 minutes. Lukla is the gateway to entire Everest or Khumbu region of Nepal. After landing at the airstrip of Lukla, we will start our trek by following a slightly rising trail that climbs through the left bank of Dudh Koshi river. Our trek passes along several Mani walls as we arrive at Ghat. From there we will continue our uphill trekking to reach Phakding for the overnight stay.

Day 3

Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar [3440m/11283ft] [5-6 Hrs
From Phakding we start our day by crossing a small stream before climbing up the terraced hill to arrive at Bengar. A mixture of several uphill and downhill will lead us towards Sagarmatha National Park Service where the park entrance fee is collected. As the mountain path zigzags uphill, we emerge at a ridge top rest area that offers excellent views of Everest and Lhotse. Our climb eases somewhat as the path goes along the pine forest to reach Namche Bazaar – The Sherpa Capital.

Day 4

A day for rest at Namche Bazaar - for acclimatization.
It is an ideal place to spend a rest day for acclimatization before we head off higher towards Tyangboche. Namche Bazaar is an extensive market town where there is always something to see and places to explore. For acclimatization, we can take a walk up to Khumjung Monastery or make an hour's hike up to Syangboche at 3800 meters from where we can get outstanding view of Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, Thamserku, Kusum Kangaru and other high peaks. There are also good views from the National Park Centre and Museum just above the town.

Day 5

Trek from Namche Bazaar to Tyangboche [3867m/12683ft]
After spending a full day rest at Namche Bazaar, we will continue our trek towards Tyangboche. To the right there is a steep cliff that drops down to the Dudh Koshi, faintly visible on the valley floor below. It is a rather long climb to Tyangboche. The first half of the trek is especially steep. As we climb through the forested zone, the incline eases and the splendid view of harsh alpine valleys surrounded by snow-capped peaks. Our climb continues until we reach the stone gate built by lamas which mark our entry into Tyangboche.

Day 6

Trek from Tyangboche to Dingboche [4260m/13972ft] [5-6 Hrs]
Today we will leave Tyangboche and start to ascend over the mountain path that offers stunning views of Ama Dablam and Kantega as they appear on the opposite bank. We will continue our uphill trekking as we pass through the chorten-lined route, the upper path passes Pangboche and a monastery and the lower path to Pangboche Olin and its stone wall-enclosed potato field. Our trail climbs slowly passing a village to reach a big Mani Stupa. From there, our trek is fairly moderate all the way to Dingboche. Overnight at Dingboche.

Day 7

Trek from Dingboche to Lobuche [4930m/16170ft] [5-6 Hrs Trek
After breakfast, we will follow the trail that heads downward to Pheriche village. After about two hours of trekking from Pheriche, we will arrive at Dugla. Here we will cross a small wooden bridge over the outflow of Khumbu glacier. We will make a stop at Dugla for having lunch. After lunch we continue trekking for an hour up a steep hill to the top from where good views of Mt. Pumori and other peaks west of Everest can be seen. From there our trek continues up to Lobuche for our overnight stay.

Day 8

Trek from Lobuche to Gorakshep [5180m/16990ft] then trek
Leaving Lobuche we trek up the valley following the rocky moraine trail with views of icy glacial ponds and icebergs down below the Khumbu glacier. After the last rocky moraine dunes, a short downhill walk brings us to Gorakshep. Gorakshep is the flat field below Kala Patthar 5545m and is the last stop with comfy teahouses. From there our trail winds through a rocky path and the Khumbu glacier towards Everest Base Camp. After witnessing a great moment at the Base Camp, we will retrace our steps back towards Gorakshep for our overnight stay.

Day 9

Morning Hike upto KalaPatthar [5545m/18187ft]
Today we start early in order to accomplish an early morning hike to Kala Patthar at 5545 meters and enjoy the magnificent sunrise view over Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Pumori, Ama Dablam, Kusum Kanguru, and other surrounding peaks within Everest region. After spending quality time at Kalapatthar we will retrace our steps and descend back to Gorakshep. From there it is a downhill trekking all the way to Pheriche. The town of Pheriche is known to be a very windy.

Day 10

Trek from Pheriche to Tyangboche [3867m/12683ft] [5-6 Hrs]
At Pheriche we will pay a morning visit to the research center. After breakfast we start our return trek following an easier descent passing through rhododendron forest and continue trekking as we approach Tyangboche for our overnight stay. In the evening we will have great views of Ama Dablam and the beautiful valleys with lush green hills.

Day 11

Trek from Tyangboche to Namche Bazaar [3440m/11283ft]
After breakfast we continue our trek as we leave Tyangboche behind and trek towards Namche Bazaar. The walk from Tyangboche is mostly downhill on the main EBC trail with a few steep climbs for an hour from the bridge at Phungetenga. The scenic and pleasant walk through Khumjung brings us back to Namche Bazaar for the overnight stay.

Day 12

Trek from Namche Bazaar to Lukla [2800m/9184ft] [5-6 Hrs]
The last day of this adventurous Everest Base Camp Trekking leads from Namche Bazaar via Monjo to Lukla. The trek is a pleasant journey, except for few short uphill climbs and then down to the Bhote- Koshi River crossing it three times. The last uphill climb of 45 minutes will bring us to Lukla. We will celebrate the completion of the trek with the crew in the evening.

Day 13

Fly from Lukla to Kathmandu [45Min flight]
Today we will take a scenic flight from Lukla back to Kathmandu. After landing at Kathmandu airport, you will be transferred to the hotel. You can either harvest at the hotel or take a walk around the busy shopping streets of Thamel. In the evening please join our Farewell Dinner Program organised by Nepal Guide Treks and Expedition for celebrating the completion of the trek. Overnight in Kathmandu.
