The Groot Winterhoek Wilderness Mountain and Area, known for its rugged wild landscape and exceptional rock formations lies about 120km north of Cape Town, in majestic part of the Cape Fold Mountains. It is a World Heritage Site particularly important for protecting mountain Fynbos and wildlife.
A 4 to 7 Day mountain trekking adventure, and being a wilderness area, we will be sleeping out in the veld each night. Therefore, each participant will need to bring along a tent to sleep in.
