Malyovitsa is the name of range in Rila mountain. The main, but not highest peak is called Malyovitsa as well. This hike will bring you into genuine nature and stunning views. The valley range of Malyovitsa is called "the cradle of Bulgarian mountaineering". Steep walls and rough terrain offer amazing opportunities for climbing junkies.

For well prepared hikers the tour could be made longer in order to be seen as much as possible of surrounded landscape.

Hike through Malyovitsa valley
Early in the morning (7-8h) you will be picked up from your accommodation in Sofia and driven to the end of the road at the bottom of Malyovitsa valley - approximately 2 hours of drive. Here starts our hike upward along the river. Follows gentle ascend in the first half of the way up. In about 4-5 hours we will reach the summit of Mt. Malyovitsa. During the walk you will delight unique and majestic nature, crystal lakes and astonishing views. In late afternoon we will get back to the car and travel back to Sofia.
