Full description

It is a glaring fact that Mount Everest is the world’s highest Peak located in Nepal, on the border between Nepal and Tibet. It is located in the Mahalangur Himalaya at the elevation of 8,848.86 metres (29,029 ft) above sea level. Its neighboring peaks include Mount Lhotse (8,516 m) Mount Nuptse (7,855 m) and Mount Changtse (7550m) stands for north peak in Tibet.

Mt.Everest was first climbed on May 29, 1953 by Edmund Hillary from New Zealand and Tenzing Norgay from Nepal and reached the summit of the world’s highest mountain. These brave climbers scaled Everest Base Camp from the Khumbu glacier and continued their ascent to the summit via the South Face. This route, thereafter, has become the most popular route to climb Mt. Everest from Nepal. Then, in 1975 the first woman climber named Ms. Junko Tabei from Japan summitted Mount Everest successfully via the South East Ridge route.

The expedition trip begins with a domestic flight to Lukla , a gateway to Everest region and gradually climb up to Everest base camp. We set up the first camp at base camp at the elevation of 5500m at the foot of the Khumbu Icefall before ascending to Camp 1 at 6210m. After Camp 1 we climb to Camp 2 at 6600m via the Western CWM, up the Lhotse face to Camp 3 at 7205m. Finally, we climb up the South Col. to Camp 4 at 8000m before moving on the summit at 8,848m (29,029 ft).

Every Spring Churen Himal Treks organizes Mt. Everest expedition via the South Face route from Nepal. We provide highly experienced climbing guides and Sherpa team with years of climbing expertise and unparalleled logistical support.
