Ideal programm for those who want to start with an acclimatization to make a hill or volcano of more than six thousand meters. Ideal to do this befor efacing the Aconcagua. The program starts on Saturday, November 3 in Fiambala, in the province of Catamarca or may arrive in Mendoza Capital on Friday, November 2.
Mountain: San Francisco Volcano (6036 mtrs.)
Date of the Expedition: From Saturday 3 to Monday 12 of November.
Area: Puna Argentina - Catamarca.
Ascent Route: Normal Route.
Physical Requirement: HIGH
Technical Requirement: Low.
Meeting Point: Town of Fiambalá.

Day 1
Fiambala meeting
We met at Hosteria San Pedro in Fiambala, pre-trip talk and then free afternoon. Dinner in the town of Fiambala.
Day 2
Cortadera
Breakfast, preparation of the equipment and transfer to the place of Cortadera (3300 mtrs.) Armed of the Camp, Lunch and free afternoon, Dinner & overnight.
Day 3
Coquena Hill and Long Pastures summits
Breakfast, prepared from the backpack and start of the Trekking to go to the summit of Coquena Hill (4000 mtrs.) And Long Pastures (4100 mtrs.), And then undertake the return to the camp, snack and rest. Dinner & overnight.
Day 4
La Gruta
Disarm of the Camp and transfer to La Gruta. Procedures of International Passage, lodging in National Road (ifthereis place - itrunsonbehalf of eachone), lunch and free afternoon. Dinner& overnight.
Day 5
Falso Morocho hill
Breakfast, preparation of thebackpack and acclimatizationTrekking to go to the Falso Morocho hill (4600 mtrs.), We undertake the return to arrive in the afternoon to the Camp. Snack and rest pre-chat. Dinner& overnight.
Day 6
the base of Bertran
Early breakfast and we depart in vans until the base of Bertran (5300 mtrs.), We begin the ascent and then we return to the place of departure. Rest, Dinner& overnight.
Day 7
DAY OF REST
Breakfast, lunch and relaxation. Dinner& overnight.
Day 8
summit of San Francisco Volcano
Early breakfast and we start the ascent tothe summit of San Francisco Volcano (6036 mtrs.) To contemplate the view and begin the descent to the Road Camp. Dinner& overnight. Itwould be climbedwith a 4x4 truck up to 5000 meters and fromtherewestartedtheascent.
Day 9
descent to La Gruta - to Fiambala
Breakfast, disarm the camp and begin the descent in vehicles to La Gruta, after international procedures, go down to Fiambala ...Accommodation in the rooms, shower and armed bags END OF SERVICES !!!
OPTION:Armingtogether a greatbarbecue in Las Famosas Termas de Fiambala.

Back home
We started the retreat to the cities of each one ... Back to Home !!!
