Situated in the mountains of Khevsureti are two of Georgia's most impressive fortress towns, Shatili and Mutso. Built in the middle centuries the stone fortifications are still largely intact. Trek through the beautiful mountains to explore these medieval gems of Georgia.
Cross the Datvijvari pass at 2676m and be awe inspired by the 360 views over Khevsureti.
Visit Kistani and its fortress on the way to Shatili
Hike up to Mutso on its rocky outcrop.
Stay in Shatili.
Trek to the remote Ardoti village.

Tbilisi- Datvi jvari pass- Kitsini-Shatili
Transfer to Khevsureti by vehicle. Picnic lunch at Datvi jvari pass, trek to kitsani fortress village. After which we continue our journey by vehicle to Shatili. There’ll be time in the afternoon to explore Shatili.

Overnight stay in guesthouse in Shatili.

Day 2
Shatili to Mutso
Hike from Shatili to Mutso, there’ll be time in the afternoon to explore Mutso perched high on the valley side.
12kms 755m ascent/ 577m descent
Overnight wild Camping near Mutso.

Day 3
Mutso - Ardoti
Today we trek from Mutso to the remote village of Ardoti at the far end of the valley we have time to explore the area before dinner at our Guesthouse.

Day 4
Ardoti- Tbilisi
Morning hike to khonischala before our transfer back to Tbilisi.
