Most probably most of us have heard about such resort as Bansko, located in the south-west of Bulgaria. But few people know that around this resort there are a huge number of breathtaking alpine landscapes of the National Park Pirin, as well as mountain huts that work throughout the winter. Rocky ridges with peaks over 2900m (the highest point of Vihren 2915m), wide valleys of glacial origin, fir forests will surprise you with a variety of routes for backcountry and ski-tour, and there is opportunity to return every evening to a cozy mountain hut or apartments where everything is necessary for comfortable rest. Amazing Balkan cuisine, local hospitality will make this adventure a memorable and exciting.
