The Mehlsack peak cannot be seen from any of the surrounding slopes. However, it is a highlight of the Lech-Zürs area, and freeride fans from all over the world flock to Mehlsack to experience its wide, long North slope. When the weather is just right, the descend brings unforgettable emotions.
Our journey begins near the upper Madloch cable car station. From here we’ll make our way down to Stierlochjoch and begin ski-touring towards the peak for approximately 3,5-4 hours. On the way Maria will explain you how to use ski tour equipment and show you some techniques. Don't hesitate to ask Maria questions, she has a great experience as an athlete and a mountain enthusiast for many years. She can also tell you a lot about the area and how people live here.
Once we reach the peak, we will admire amazing sights of nearby mountains and valleys and have a little rest. Depending on snow condition we have two different routes for descending, but both of them end by the cable car station in Zug. Maria will suggest the best way according to snow condition and your skill level.
