Norwegian Thomas Lone Join Death Zone Freeride Project
Contest for participation in Death Zone Freeride project is finished! And we want to introduce a new entrant for the 4th stage — Norwegian alpinist Thomas Lone.
The Norwegian Thomas Lone will join the 4th expedition of Death Zone Freeride project to the Broad Peak (8,051 m) during the Summer, 2020.
Thomas is 24 years old and is currently completing a master's degree in marine technology in Trondheim. A few weeks ago, Thomas became the youngest Norwegian in history to complete the 7 Summit program. Also he has experience in kayaking and snowkiting.
Thomas are very glad to join expedition. «It is great honor to become a part of Death Zone Freeride team, thank you for the opportunity! I truly look forward to meeting you guys in the near future», — writes Lone.
Vitaliy Lazo and Anton Pugovkin (Death Zone Freeride project)
On June, 20202 Thomas together with Vitaliy Lazo and Anton Pugovkin will ascend one of the most beautiful 8-thousanders of the Karakorum — Broad Peak — and ski down from the top.
And of course, he will be the one of the main characters of the new film about mountains, mountaineering, and the fight against the forces of nature and oneself.
