Manaslu Expedition 2020

The  is an adventurous climbing expedition to 8th highest mountain of the globe known as Mount Manaslu with proud height of 8,163 meters. The Mount Manaslu is resided in the government protected region of Manaslu Conservation Area in mid-western region of Nepal. The Manaslu Mountain climbing is more technical and challenging in compare to Cho-Oyu so climbers should have excellent mountaineering training and experience.

The Manaslu expedition begins from following the trekking trail of Budi Gandaki valley leading to Samagaon. The climbers make their first camp for acclimatization at 4600 meters below the Manaslu Base Camp. The next camp is made at Manaslu Base Camp at 4750 meters.The climbing of Mount Manaslu to higher elevation needs to follow the cane marker pointers using fixed ropes for crossing the bergschrunds. The next high camp is made at 5700 meters at the bottom of the North Peak. The High-Camp2 is made at the altitude of 6400 meters and High-Camp3 is made at 6800 meters just below the col. The climbing continues further higher at camp4 at 7400 meters which is the last high camp of our expedition. The climbers after high camp4 follow a 6 hours climbing trail to reach the summit and make camp there. The climbers has to pass through the moderate slope to climb towards summit along with pyramid slope. The climbers then traverse for around 70meters using fixed ropes leading towards summit. The climbers after successful ascend to summit return to base camp and pack for home.
