Kanchenjunga Circuit Trek

One of the least travelled trekking destinations in the Eastern Nepal,  Kanchenjunga Circuit Trek offers the best trekking experience to the solitude lovers who love remoteness and peace. The prime highlight of the trek is of course the base camp of Mt. Kanchenjunga (8586 m), world’s third tallest peak after Mt. Everest and Mt. K2. This trek is a relatively difficult one with few high mountain passes that demand physically fit and fine health conditions. The 21 days trek starts from Suketar airport in Taplejung district where a direct flight from Kathmandu is available. The trek leads to maximum elevation at Kanchenjunga Base Camp at Pangpema (5143 m) and ends at Suketar. Kanchenjunga Circuit Trek  attracts limited number of trekkers annually as it doesn’t offer many facilities to the trekkers in comparison to Everest region and Annapurna region. Therefore, trekkers need to be prepared for camping for many days and sufficient logistics should be carried. The trekkers are highly recommended to consult experienced trekking agency and their licensed guides to trek along the Kanchenjunga region.
