The Qhapaq Ñan (Main road or great Inca road) is name in ancient Inca language - The Inca road system was the most extensive and advanced transportation system in pre-Columbian South America thanks to the hard work the Inca’s did to communicate various valleys and towns with Inca empire as known as Qosqo (Cuzco).
One of many Inca trail was connecting from to Andes to the coast – Today those regions are recognize as Ayucucho and Nasca departments – Both regions are located on the southern of Lima or the west of Cuzco – The trail was built with ancient technics to support lot traffic of Llamas and people on that time – The purpose of the traffic on that trail was for making business (trueque or exchange) with different kinds of products between villagers from the Andes and the coast.
The 3 day trek was design by PERU ADVENTURE TOURS for people wanting to get good training for the Inca trail to Machu Picchu.
