Wadi Rum (i.e. "Valley of light, airborne sand"), also known as the Valley of the Moon, is a valley cut into the sandstone and granite rock in southern Jordan 60 km (37 mi) to the east of Aqaba; it is the largest wadi in Jordan.
Wadi Rum is well-known for it's rock climbing possibilities and good weather conditions even in the winter. The Bedouin have climbed in the Sandstone mountains of Wadi Rum for many generations. Many of their 'Bedouin Roads' have been rediscovered and documented by modern climbers. Several are included in the climbing guidebooks.
Interesting fact: you can spot a lot of Wadi Rum environment in such a movies as "Lawrence of Arabia", "The Martian", "Transformers", Red Planet", etc.

Arriving in Sharm-El-Sheikh, Egypt. Transfer to St. Catherine village. Visiting St Catherine monastery.
Day 2
Meeting with Sinai mountains. Ascent on Jebel Fara, Pharaoh’s chimney rout PD.
Day 3
Ascent on Jebel Safsafa, Skull rout AD.
Day 4
Transfer to Taba by car, than by ferry to Aqaba, Jordan. Transfer to Wadi Ram village.
Day 5
Jebel Rakabat ascent by L’Aperitif rout PD+.
Day 6
Jebel Rum ascent by Hammad’s rout AD+.
Day 7
Transfer to Petra, well-known ancient Nabateans city. Excursion day. Transfer to Amman. Flight home.
