Elbrus Mountain in Russia is thу highest peak in Europe (5 642 m). The Normal Route is the easiest, safest and fastest on account of the cable car and chairlift system.
The ascent of Elbrus from the south takes about 6–9 hours, with a total height difference of 1,700–2,000 m (5,600–6,600 ft) between the Barrels Huts and the west summit of Elbrus.
Elbrus ascent offers rich ice and snow experience under unpredictable weather conditions even in the summer, so be accompanied by experienced mountain guide is the best option, if you are a novice in alpinism.

Location
Russia, Kabardino-Balkaria, Elbrussky District
Day 1
Arrival to Mineralnye Vody airport. Then transfer to Terskol village and overnight in a hotel.
Day 2
Acclimatisation hike until the top of Mount Cheget (3770 m).
Day 3
Short transfer to ski-lift in Azau Meadow. Reaching 3700 m by cable car and check-in at the mountain hut. Then walking around for better acclimatisation.
Day 4
Acclimatisation ascent until 4700 m. Then back down to the hut and preparing for the ascent day.
Day 5
Ascent day. It takes 8-9 hours to reach the top of Europe, then descent to the hut. Optionally we can use a snow cat to reach 4900 m and so save power and time.
Day 6
Descent to the hotel of Terskol. Rest day.
Day 7
Transfer to Mineralnye Vody airport, then flight back home.
