Iztaccihuatl is the 3rd highest mountain in Mexico, and when you look at it from far away, you can see the shape of a sleeping lady, in fact, the names given while climbing correspond to body parts like the feet, the knees, the breast, the head, etc.
It's a beautiful mountain overlooking to the cities of Mexico and Puebla and next to the active and smoking huge Popocateptl volcano (El Popo).
For us, it's our backyard practice area to go and play when don't have much else to do :)
Normally in a guided tour we take between 2-3 days depending on your acclimatization. In any case it's a very nice climb with spectacular view of Mexico and Puebla cities, of Popo, and in the far distance, La Malinche and Pico de Orizaba remembering us that these are big volcanoes domains.
We organize all-inclusive tours with accommodation, transport, etc. or just the climb, whatever is best for you.
