The gorge allures of its wild nature and lofty mountains. The most universal and year-round route. Here we can organize: cycling tours for lovers of bikes, ski tours, backcountry freeride, hikking.
Day 1:
Meeting at the airport "Manas". Transfer to Karakol city, accommodation at the hotel, dinner.
Day 2:
Breakfast before we hit the road. The route begins at the foot of the Karakol ski base and extends to the south up to the “Mountain skier”, “Knight” and “Snowboarder” Peaks. The camp is set at an altitude of 3000 m with a beautiful view on "Przhevalsky Peak". Lunch. During the first day we will walk 9 km. The ascent will be smooth without sharp differences in heights. Dinner. Overnight in tents.
Day 3:
A cheerful morning begins with breakfast and an ascent to the only 3400 m high pass on our way. After that, we must overcome a steep slope and descend to the Arashan gorge to 2500 m. Lunch. The wild hot springs of Arashan will provide relieve to the sore muscles. Deep profound sleep is guaranteed in Yurts (national Kyrgyz dwelling). During this day we will pass 12 km.
Day 4:
Last day of the trek. You are probably tired of walking. Therefore, we will descent on horses for 3-4 hour till the beginning of Ak-Suu gorge (16 km). The car will be waiting, to pick us up. Return to the city of Karakol. At the guest house you will be greeted with hot tea and a warm welcome! Dinner.
Day 5:
Breakfast. Transfer from Karakol to Bishkek, airport "Manas". End of the program.
Please Note : It is necessary to have warm clothes, spare clothes, good boots and spare sport shoes, a rain jacket, sun glasses, sunblock (cream). If you have a specific disease, you should have your own first aid kit with the necessary medicines.
