Climb the gem of the far north Chile. The Parinacota volcano rises on one of the most pristine areas along the chilean Andes, the Lauca National Park.
In this trip, we´ll know the lifestyle and culture of the inhabitants of these highlands.
Depending of the snow and ice conditions, we´ll climb the West Face on a fine route, 40 degrees slopes.

Meeting at Arica airport. Transfer to the small village of Socoroma. 3 hours drive.
Day 2
Putre (3500 m)
Early acclimatization trek to the summit of mount Chatiza (3550 m). Return to Socoroma. Transfer to Putre. 1 hour drive.
Day 3
Putre (3500 m)
Acclimatization trek to 4000 m.
Day 4
Parinacota village (4300 m)
Transfer to this tiny and cute aymará village. 1 hour drive
Day 5
Parinacota village (4300 m)
Acclimatization hike around the Cotocatani lagoons.
Day 6
Parinacota village (4300 m)
Acclimatization trek to the summit of mount Guane Guane (5055 m), a fantastic lookout point.
Day 7
Chungará lake (4700 m)
Transfer to one of the highest lakes of the world. The views from its shores over the Parinacota volcano are stunning.
