We will climb to the panoramic top of the Cima Roma (2752 m). Ascent is relatively easy and safe, there are no steep slopes covered with hard snow and ice. It’s not very difficult route with stunning views. However you should have a minor experience in ski tour and off-piste skiing to take the most out of it.
Our route starts from the Passo Grostè (2444 m), from the top station of the Groste cableway. Soon enough we will move away from crowded ski resort slopes and observe fantastic mountain landscape. While ascending, we’ll go through a beautiful valley and get to the top of the mountain. It offers stunning views of the South Tyrol and Trentino mountains. Ascent will take about 2,5-3 hours.
Then we will ski down back to Passo Grostè, where we will stop for lunch at the authentic mountain refuge Graffer (Rifugio Graffer). Here you can enjoy the home-cooked food of the Trentino region in a cosy atmosphere. From Rifugio Graffer we will ski down the slope and finish the day.
This trip is perfect to get away from the crowded ski slopes and enjoy skiing in nature. You’re going to love it!
