Yayamari Glacier Mountain is the first 6,000 m.a.s.l. in the Region, also known as “Montura”, for its saddle shape. Yayamari means “The father of the ponds” in Quechua language and it is the ideal choice for those who look for big challenges in a short time.

It is the kind of adventure where, in the morning you are enjoying the impressive views from the summit, and then, back in Camp 1, we will spend the afternoon fishing in a high Andean lake.

Hi! I'm an independent mountaineering guide, native of Argentina.

Cusco is unlike any place in the world. Mountaineering has in Cusco, an incomparable scenery: a unique concentration of mountains without agglomerations of climbers, a benign climate most of the year and a relatively easy access to totally isolated environments. Thanks to this unique combination, Cusco is considered one of the most attractive destinations for mountain climbers from all over the world.
