Kilimanjaro Tanzanite Safaris DMC now offers senior travelers with vacation packages and hiking tours. Marangu route is a suitable Kilimanjaro trail for elder people and beginner trekkers. Senior travelers can choose the Marangu route 6 days Kilimanjaro trekking adventure package for comfort, enjoy the hike, and successful summit. It is optional also to add an extra day if people want to stay more in the mountain and adapt to the alpine ascend journey.

- Airport transfers from Kilimanjaro Airport, Transport from Hotel to Kilimanjaro Machame gate, all park fees, salaries of guides/porters/cook, all meals on the mountain, clean safe drinking water, accommodation equipment, and Government tax, certificate of climbing, first aid, rescue and transfer to Moshi.

Day 1
DAY 1: Marangu gate / Mandara hut.
After breakfast drive to Marangu gate with your picnic lunch box .this is a place you star your ascend to the first hut ,Mandara hut (alt 2700m) where you will have dinner and over night .the walk take 3to 4 hours through the rain forest
Day 2
Mandara hut to Horombo hut.
After breakfast ascend to Horombo hut. The walk takes 5 to 6 hours on the moorland where by will have the best time to enjoy the best scenery of the Mountain. You will be able also to view both peaks (Kibo and Mawenzi) .Dinner and overnight at Horombo hut (alt. 3720m).
Day 3
Horombo/horombo hut acclimatization
This is a special day for acclimatization to Mawenzi and resting day. Dinner and overnight at Horombo.
Day 4
Horombo hut to Kibo hut.
After breakfast start the ascend to kibo hut (alt.4750m) the walk takes 5-6 hours Completing the moorland them to the alpine desert.
Day 5
Horombo to Kilimanjaro peak summit and back Horombo
At the time around midnight start the hike to the summit of Kilimanjaro ,which takes 7 to8 hours to reach the summit (Uhuru peak 5895m) after short celebration descend to Kibo hut for short rest thereafter proceed to Horombo hut for dinner and overnight.
Day 6
Descend from Horombo to Marangu gate, then Moshi town
After breakfast descends directly to the park gate where you will catch a waiting car ready for the drive back to the hotel in Moshi. Lunch will be prepared at Mandara hut.
