Toubkal is a popular peak – on object of climbing and hiking mostly in summer, and ski-touring in winter. About 500 people ascent the summit. All programs are easy to combine with historical and ethnographic routes, including associated with a visit to the Sahara desert. Toubkal ascent gives an idea of high altitude over 4000 meters to newbies in alpinism.

The highest point in North Africa and Morocco. Lightly covered with snow in winter, but it melts during the spring. Toubkal is a trekking peak. Climbing is possible both summer and winter, does not contain any technical difficulties, and does not imply a long-term stay at high altitude. The route passes through the beautiful valleys and authentic Berber villages. Summer climb is easier, but winter is more interesting: a mixture of ice-falls, firn fields, icy walls and eaves. Summit push is 5 kilometres in length with a vertical gain up to 1400m is a little bit boring and predictable, but though leaves a lot of vivid emotions.
