According to our mission, which is based on making mountains closer and safer for all members of the global Alpine Community, MountainPlanet.com pays special attention to the operating professional mountaineers, adventure guides and organizations providing different services in the mountain regions.
The audience of the project includes professional athletes, guides and outdoor enthusiasts, as well as representatives of mountaineering, trekking, rock climbing and ski communities.
MountainPlanet.com is beginning a new stage of development in Russia, focusing on searching and selecting adventure guides for various requirements, providing the most objective information about qualifications and experience of worldwide guides.The MountainPlanet.com project is led by Sergey Kofanov, a renowned mountaineer having the highest international mountaineering awards, two times Mount Everest summiter and a mountain guide himself.
The main goal of the cooperation with RMGA consists in information support of the official status of mountain guides in the international Alpine Community, assistance in the communication of guides with international clients and partners, popularization of programs for professional training of mountain guides.

Our platform is particularly designed in order to study the market of the offered guided services around the world with the most possible verified information related to qualifications. By verifying the information with mountain guides associations, we can control the reliability of data and its completeness even better. I am grateful to my Russian colleagues for taking part in the program, which will help us realize the conceived and improve the system in the interests of all representatives of the global Alpine Community."
