A climber from Coedpoeth has returned from the Himalayas where he led a team to the summit of a previously unclimbed mountain.
Brian Jackson, director of Expedition Wise Ltd, which is based in Brymbo, led a small team as they trekked 12 days to basecamp before attempting to summit a mountain that has never been climbed before. Located in the Rolwaling Valley of Nepal, Korlang Pari Tippa North stands at 5,574m on the border of Nepal and Tibet.
