At least four Nepali climbers successfully stood atop the 7,161-metre peak in the Mt Everest region this afternoon.
“Four Sherpa climbers reached the top of Mt Pumori opening a route to the summit point at 1:15 pm,” Tamding Sherpa, Managing Director at Himalayan Experience Pvt Ltd, said.
According to him, the rope fixing team of Sherpa climbers who scaled the mountain includes Dawa Steven Sherpa, Phurba Namgyal Sherpa, Nima Tenjing Sherpa and Naga Dorjee Sherpa.
