Let’s start today with letter A! A... hmm... let us think a bit... It should be Aconcagua which attracts climbers from all over the world!
Aconcagua is the highest mountain outside Asia with 6,962 m and located in the Andes mountain range, Argentina. This is the only summit in the world with elevation almost 7,000 meters which can be tackled even by people who have never had climbing experience before. Despite this fact it is highly recommended to ascend on Aconcagua with knowledgeable mountain guide in order to avoid possible risks and increase chances for successful summit.
The first recorded ascent of Aconcagua was made on January 14th, 1897, by Swiss guide Matthias Zurbriggen via the northern route.
