Five Sherpas have fixed the rope upto Camp III (6800m) on Mt Manaslu. The team of Sherpas from Seven Summit Treks, under the management of EOA (Expedition Operator Association, Nepal) fixed the rope lines up to camp III.
“Ngima Dorchi Sherpa, Namja Bhote, Kaji Sherpa, Rinjee Sherpa and Tenji Chumbi Sherpa 5 Sherpas via NE Ridge (N-FACE) fixed the rope till 6800m yesterday,” said Mingma Sherpa, Chairman at Seven Summit Treks.
According to the Department of Tourism, 225 permits have been issued to climb Mt. Manaslu so far.
Depending upon the weather climbers aims to attempt at last week of September to the summit.
